THE ROMANTIC RHEIN RIVER. 

We are seriously taken with the romantic Mittelrheintal. The climate is mild, there's al lot to discover and the Rhein metropolises Koblenz and Mainz are very close. The ferry connection quickly takes you over to the “odd Side” (meaning the wrong side of the river = the Rheingau). This is what turns Bingen into an attractive benchmark for active vacationers, culture enthusiasts and wine lovers.

Along the park at the Mäuseturm there are many possibilities for leisure activities and the Bingen forest is not just fun to explore because of the funny Tree spirit tour. An absolute must-do for Bingen visitors is a tour on one of the excursion ships through the romantic Mittelrheintal. Believe it or not 40 castles and castle ruins are to be seen along the way. Instead of the ship you may also take the ferry to get over to the Rheingau rapidly. Rüdesheim, the Niederwald monument and lovely wine villages are waiting to be discovered by you.
